Career Movement:

I began my journey with THM in 2003 as a Guest Service Agent at the Courtyard by Marriott in Champaign, IL. I was promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2004 at the same hotel. My first role as General Manager was at Tharaldson’s Residence Inn in Rockford, IL. Following this, I moved to the East Coast and managed another Residence Inn for Tharaldson before leaving the company because of the hotel being sold. I returned to Tharaldson in 2012 as General Manager for their Residence Inn in Dayton, OH, and later opened their Residence Inn in Columbus, OH. In 2017, I transitioned from operations to human resources, taking on the role of Human Resources Manager. Currently, I am the Director of Human Resources. My number one goal is to positively impact our employees’ experience at THM. If our employees are happy and cared for, the guests will be too.
